About the Characters

In this post i'll be covering the basic knowledge that the audience should have on the two main characters. 

Yasmin and Mina have been friends for a very short time, but in that time they have gotten close in the last few months of their friendship. Both are very comfortable with each other, but there is definitely some tension between the two... Sexual tension, that is. Yasmin is the one who we will be focusing on throughout the short film. She is a petite, beautiful, and at times, very self-conscious. She has been raised in the same strict and religious household for the past sixteen years. Mina, on the other hand, is the polar opposite to Yasmin. Her parents are very easy going and liberal, therefore Mina was raised in  a carefree environment. She is spunky, out-going, and just a "fun time".


These two have a completely platonic relationship... At first. Things get a little funny once they go out together alone without their other friends being there, but it's after a few hours of talking and getting to actually know each other is when Yasmin gets a little worried about this "uneasy" feeling.


Because of Yasmin's religious background and the fact that she was raised in a very strict home, she knows that having these feelings for the same gender is something that will not be tolerated to her parents. Her whole life she has been aiming to please her parents, but now being a junior in high school and figuring out what she wants to be in life, she starts to question who she wants to be in life.
